I ran an M-Pesa agent shop in Nyalenda, Kisumu, for thirteen years. Before that I kept the books for a transport company on the Busia road.

How every figure is confirmed
Minimums, fees and paybill and till numbers come from the operator's own Kenyan pages, with the date they were read. Licence status is checked with the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Kenya. Where the payments page and the terms disagree, both go on the page with dates. Where the operator does not say, the page says there is no data.
